We will be moving towards a Total Triage model from early Autumn. All requests for an expedited GP appointment should be submitted via our website. A GP will triage your request and assign to the most suitable service. This could be an urgent or routine appointment with a GP (here or at a central hub), a physician associate, nurse or health care assistant, or, a referral to a community pharmacy for minor ailments or other healthcare provider such as physio or primary eyecare services.
All other patients who wish to make a routine GP appointment should use the NHS app. Please note you will not be able to make any GP appointment via the phone. This is in line with other GP practices in the UK, and part of an NHS strategy to signpost patients to the most appropriate service which is not always a GP.

Everyone in the UK has the right to free care from a GP. If you don’t have proof of ID or address, you can still register. Immigration status or nationality don’t matter – reception won’t ask for immigration documents and won’t share your information with the Home Office unless serious crime is involved.
Going to your local pharmacy offers an easy and convenient way to get clinical advice on minor health concerns. They may also be able to offer treatment and some prescription medicine for some conditions, without you needing to see a GP.
Find the service and help you need.
This means that, as part of the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated clinician who has a specialist knowledge of military related health conditions and veteran specific health services. This is important in helping individuals who have served in the Armed Forces get the care and treatment that is right for them.
If you have served in the UK Armed Forces, please let your health professional know to help ensure you are getting the best possible care. To find out more, ask your healthcare professional.
